What this is

MetaManager checks how web pages present themselves — titles, descriptions, Open Graph and Twitter Card tags — scores them, and draws social card images for pages you own. These terms cover the website, the API, the MCP server and the card renderer. Using any of them means you accept them.

Your account

You need an account for anything beyond checking a single page. You are responsible for what happens under it, including anything done by an API key you created or an agent you connected. Keep credentials to yourself: an API key is shown once and acts as your account until you revoke it.

One person or organisation per account. You must be able to form a binding contract where you live.

What you may check

Check pages you own, or public pages you have a legitimate reason to look at. Do not use MetaManager to crawl a site at a volume or frequency that burdens it, to work around a site’s access controls, or to gather data you are not allowed to gather. Our crawler identifies itself and honours robots.txt; do not try to make it do otherwise.

Social cards

Cards are drawn from your own pages’ titles and descriptions, in colours and layouts you choose, and served from our domain. You must verify a domain before cards will draw for it. A card template can describe where things go and how big they are; it can never carry text or an address of its own, which is what stops our renderer being used to publish somebody else’s words under our name.

Templates published to the public library can be seen and copied by anyone. Accounts on the Free plan publish publicly and cannot opt out; this is disclosed in the editor and again here. We may hide a template from the library, without notice, if its name or description is misleading, abusive, or impersonates somebody.

Connected agents

You can let an AI agent use your account without sharing an API key. The agent gets only the permissions you tick when you approve it, and you can disconnect it at any time from your connected agents page. What an agent does with those permissions counts as something you did — including audits it starts, which spend your monthly allowance.

Plans, allowances and payment

Free accounts get a fixed allowance; paid plans get more, as described on the pricing page. Billing is handled by Polar, our merchant of record, under their terms; we never see your card details. Plans renew until cancelled, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-used periods, though if something has gone wrong on our side, write to us and we will sort it out.

Allowances exist to keep the service usable for everyone. We may rate limit, and we will tell you in the response when we do.

What we do not promise

MetaManager reports what it can read at the moment it looks. Platforms change how they render previews, cache aggressively, and sometimes disagree with each other — so a preview here is an approximation and is labelled as one. Scores are our own opinion of a page, not a ranking signal and not advice from any search engine or social platform.

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, or that every check will be correct. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending it

You can stop using MetaManager and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that abuses the service, does not pay, or puts other users at risk — we will say why unless telling you would make the problem worse.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on this page and, for anything significant, by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
